Super Mario Bros. 3 is another 2D platformer from Nintendo’s Mario series, and resembles the gameplay of the original Super Mario Bros. What actually makes this game rather interesting is that its plot is quite deeper than the previous titles. In the game, Bowser is once again doing what he does best, causing chaos, with the help of his children called koopalings, causing trouble for the kings of the seven regions of Mushroom Land. No more saving of Princess Toadstool this time, instead Mario and his brother Luigi go on her behalf to restore order, and so the journey begins. Super Mario Bros. 3 offers a number of new features that make it once again one of the most loved games of all time.
The game features 8 worlds to venture through, all are very well made and each has a very unique feel to it.
You now play through to screens, the overworld map and the level playfield. The overworld map shows you the entire world with different paths to choose. The level playfield is the level you have to complete when entering an area.

In addition to the power-ups in Super Mario Bros. Mario can now collect different suits that give him special abilities and help him get through the game. An example of this is the Hammer Suit which allows Mario to take the form of the Hammer Bros. and throw axes at the enemies.
